TAYLORSIDE MINI FARM

Taylorside is a small farm located three km. Northwest of Armstrong. Having been raised on the farm, it seemed natural to go back to that
way of life at the first opportunity
.
We have been raising Golden Retrievers since 1998 and Ragdolls since 2000.

Although I had raised Siamese cats off and on for 35 years, we just purchased our first Ragdoll cats four years ago. I never thought I would own long haired cats as I wasn’t interested in furballs and did not have the time for regular grooming. Ragdolls interested me as they are minimal shedding and require little care. With blue eyes and Siamese coloring, intelligent and easy going Ragdolls seemed to have the best of both worlds. We still have a breeding pair of Siamese as they have great temperaments and their babies are very popular.

Nigerian Dwarf Goats are also fun to raise as they are friendly and easy to handle. Their babies are about three pounds at birth and make great backyard pets.

We also have a couple of miniature donkeys and horses and occasionally have babies for sale.

At Taylorside, our passion is raising babies and often we get to hand raise preemie goat kids or runt kittens. These babies become like our human family, living and traveling with us. They bring much pleasure to us and all we meet along the way.
