I work at a seniors home and bring my animals in regularly.  Pets are great therapy for the elderly (and me too)!  It has been proven that the elderly actually live longer when they have a pet to love and care for.  I also have a granddaughter who stays with us about five days a week while her mom works.  I think she is fortunate to be growing up with animals and we bring puppies, kittens and baby goats to her class whenever possible.

I hand raised an orphaned triplet preemie goat this past summer and he became so popular that he was allowed in the bank, school, hospital, work and where ever we went.

My mother commented at Easter that this was the first time she had the privilege of having a goat eat on her diningroom table!
